Oster Clothes Iron, Sophisticated and for All Fabrics

Oster is a manufacturer of home appliances such as blenders, fans, mixers, clothes irons, etc., however, in this review we are going to focus on the steam clothes iron model GCSTBSBS5957. This type of iron is increasingly used because it preserves clothes better, removes wrinkles quickly, even the most difficult ones, and effectively eliminates germs due to its temperature.

The iron purchased is pink with black color and has small images showing its features, among them, it has an automatic shut-off with timer, anti-calcification system, that is, it has an intern
al filter inside the water tank that allows extending the life of the iron, it also has a precision tip to access the difficult parts to iron, vertical steam for ironing without board and has the ability to steam blow.

Regarding its base, this is made of a double layer of non-stick ceramic for a better glide on the fabric preventing it from sticking when ironing and thanks to its holes it helps to obtain a better steam distribution. 

On the top we have automatic red power indicator, the fine spray button (left) and steam stroke button (right). There are also options for steam output; the first one means off, the second one means that the steam comes out of the base of the iron and the third one means that the steam comes out of the sides. Below the grip zone, there is a temperature selector disk according to the type of fabric. There are 5 options: silk, synthetic, wool, cotton and linen and the off option. It is selected by moving a knob.

The iron is aesthetically beautiful and sophisticated, it is also comfortable to use and has a suitable size for better ironing handling and easy storage. 

One aspect that can be annoying, stupefying or confusing is the multiple temperature control options due to ignorance of the fabric type as usually any one is chosen that ends up affecting the garment if it is not the correct temperature, so be careful or research the fabric type. Also, the level of steam or spray can make you feel hotter or wetter than expected. 

All things considered, the final thoughts on the Oster steam clothes iron model GCSTBS5957 suggest that it is a good iron, not only for its appearance, but for its modernity, multifunctionality, comfort, speed and effective ironing making this work agile.
