The Distracted Detective

Once upon a time, a detective, known for being a slowpoke when solving cases, was investigating a robbery on an unspoiled island in France. Although it was a case that attracted the media and press, the detective kept getting sidetracked, traveling to iconic places in Paris, like the Eiffel Tower, and indulging in the incredible treats from famous bakeries.

He had a laid-back attitude the entire time, socializing with the townspeople as if the answer to the robbery would simply fall from the sky. That was until he overheard a conversation on the beach between two men—and suddenly, he knew exactly where the thief was hiding.

Finally, he managed to solve the case and gained a lot of fame. Maybe taking his time wasn’t such a bad strategy after all.
